The Pedasi Cabanas have been designed to provide a vacation getaway in the town of Pedasi.  A series of 6 wood framed cabins are organized around a central outdoor cooking and living area, providing an elevated summer camp like atmosphere at this beachfront site in Azuero, Panama. The cabins are a comfortable launching pad for active travelers who enjoy spending time outside exploring the miles of beach and jungle accessible from the site. Each cabin is one story with a sleeping loft, a small kitchenette, and a wrap around covered living porch and accommodates 6-8 people. The facades have large doors to diminish the separation between indoor and outdoor space, while providing significant cross ventilation (although the cabins are capable of being closed up and air conditioned). The tilt-up wood structures are each framed with exposed heavy timbers sustainably sourced on the site, and all the detailing is of local materials and methods, including clay tile roofs. The master cabin is the home of the property manager, who lives onsite.
